What is the Inquiry Cup?

NAT vs LOG

Naturalists and logicians face off in a pixel-art football match. Confucius in goal, Kant on the wing — the teams you never knew you needed.

Stadium spectacle

Full stadium, commentators, and referees. Every match feels like the biggest game in philosophy.

World Cup

We’re presenting The Game during World Cup. The beautiful game meets the life of the mind — when the world watches football, we invite you to watch philosophy play.

Tradition — The idea of a “game” that weaves together philosophy, culture, and play has a long history. Hermann Hesse’s novel Das Glasperlenspiel (The Glass Bead Game) imagined an intellectual game uniting music, mathematics, and the life of the mind. We don’t adapt that work; we share its spirit: inquiry as play, thought as spectacle. The Inquiry Cup is our pitch for that tradition.
